Volunteer

If you have a personal history of recovery, you can act as a peer mentor to a judge, lawyer or law student currently dealing with mental health disorders and/or addiction. Your experience is invaluable and showing someone that they are not alone may be the first step they need to start their journey toward recovery. If you have at least 2 years of sobriety and actively work a program of recovery we would love to talk with you about volunteering to help serve your fellow lawyer in need.

The KYLAP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide financial assistance to lawyers for mental health treatment, including medications and addiction treatment, in the form of forgivable loans.

All donations are used to provide assistance to Kentucky Lawyers.
